Logo Design Brief

We are a new high-tech company offering auto follow technology for video productions. We make electronic devices that automatically keep the camera pointed to the object.
Company name 'SharpEye Systems' means an 'eye' which follows accurately the object of recording. We like a clear, recognizable, simple and easy to remember logo with balanced color tones. We like also the graphical portion of the logo to be used separately from name text (not a must).
The intent is to use the logo on our web site, in letter heads, in name cards, etc.

Target Market(s)

Technology companies who are producing video production equipements (cameras, lights, etc.) or integrating those as a bigger system. Longer term we may target also consumers.

Must have

• Company name 'SHARPEYE' clearly visible, but portions sharp and eye some how differentiated. The simple is better. We seems to like metallic blue as a main color of attraction with a good balance to other color element(s), but one more color might give a stonger impact to remember. Seems to be that best working structure is a combination of company name with a smaller element, which can be separated and used as a stand alone symbol (or eve as an UI button).

Nice to have

• SharpEye 'Systems' addition possible. Relation to our direction finding technology (also distance measurement possible). Relation to 'sharply' working technology. Capital letter usually better (but not a must).

Should not have

• not too 'rich' or complex
