Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for my new carpentry and building company which I have started in Melbourne, Australia. The company currently works on many construction sites, construction of timber frames for homes/apartments, decking and anything carpentry related.

I would also like the logo to use the color Purple (more of a royal purple) with maybe a black background but you guys are the experts.

The logo should incorporate something to do with buidling/carpentry.

Some examples are: Chisels, Handsaw, Hammer, Homes, Wood etc.

I've also added some designs which I'm leaning towards the logo looking similar to.
