Logo Design Brief

We are a construction company that does just about everything. The main thing we do is framing houses, The men should be working on the WORDS all in different ways ie ... working on the letters or falling or broken letter, The logo should have the words "Framing Men" in it. It should be playful and funny but we are a serious thriving company, the men should not be falling or making mistakes.

My vision is 3 men (see www.framingmen.com) in cartoon format with the heads bigger than the bodies. They should look similar to the 3 owners of the company wearing yellow hard hats (the man in the middle wears a brown hard hat), and tool belts. All 3 wearing flannel shirts. The man on the left (on the website) always wears overhauls, the other 2 wear jeans, all wear work boots. The men should all have their face showing. The man on the left does NOT have a beard anymore.

The words Framing Men could be made out of wood, whatever looks best. But the words MUST pop. I'm including pictures of the owners (remember the man on the left does not have a beard). The other logos and cartoons I will include are for inspiration only. The men should be in full color NOT silhouette. The 2 pictures with the guy alone is the guy on the left with no beard (sort of lol)

UPDATE ...
Designers ... Please make sure the words "Framing Men" standout and it is creative ... The cartoon men are important but if our customers can't read our company name then it makes no sense. If this logo is on a truck, anyone should be able to read the company name from a distance.

The men would like to see a design that has NO house but the men are working on building the words "Framing Men" using ladders, tools and scaffolding.

• 3 cartoon men that look like the owners
• The men should be handsome and smiling
• the words Framing Men MUST STAND OUT

Nice to have

• Using the colors Safety Orange or Construction Yellow somewhere it sends a message of safety
• The words are "realistic" wood nailed together or some other construction material or strong colors but we like nails in the words.

Should not have

• The men should NOT be falling or making mistakes
