Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for new company based in Melbourne, Australia called 'IPI Consulting'. This is a new professional services firm that specializes in providing public and private sector clients with actionable insights on how to improve organisational performance and impact. The letters 'IPI' in the company name stand for "Insights", "Performance" and "Impact". As described above, these three words encapsulate our core service and value to clients and the final design needs to convey this. We would like to see designs that employ an elegant selection of highly memorable colours (nothing too busy). We are open to suggestions on colour selection, but are drawn to the vivid greens. The final design needs to show the company name and highlight our value proposition, and communicate a sense of confidence and trust in the advice we provide. We want the design to quickly and intuitively communicate to clients that we provide trustworthy, intelligent, strategic insights that can help them improve their business performance. We provide a range of services including performance auditing, program evaluation, business process review, and risk assessment. We want the design to communicate that we are highly experienced, professional and client focused. We want our clients to feel like they are engaging a premium service they can rely on.

Public sector organisations (including local government) and private businesses. We are aiming our services to a broad range of clients in this space, including small, medium and large businesses.

Requirements

Must have

• The design must be unique, elegant and simple, yet it should ideally induce a feeling of trust and credibility in our services by presenting a polished, professional image that clearly conveys a sense of high quality.

Nice to have

• We are particularly drawn to the elegance and simplicity of the abstract logos, and would prefer designs that are more symbolic in nature that convey the brand image we are trying to cultivate as per the description. However, we are not absolutely firm on this and would consider alternative designs.

Should not have

• We do not want tacky cliches, that obviously copy a highly recognized existing design - it must be original and elegant. We also do not want amateurish designs that try too hard and over complicate things to the point where they contain too much information and confuse the message. We do not want to use tacky characters or emblems that convey a more juvenile brand image. We are a serious, high quality professional services firm.
