Logo Design Brief

We require a logo for our company for advertising ie. signage, documentation, uniforms, motor vehicles etc. Something simple, modern and catchy! Ideally it needs to have some link to pools!
Possible colours - charcoal, turquoise tones and a warmish white. I'm attaching an image of a logo that the owner quite likes so something along these lines may be an option but open to other suggestions.
