Logo Design Brief

I am looking to get a logo designed for a web based technology commerce platform. Our company works with leading edge technologies, and allows users to buy, sell, and distribute these to average consumers. We want our logo to be clean, futuristic, popping, and very tech oriented. Our color scheme right now is purple/blue. I personally like deeper purples, and brighter blues, but am open to any combination of these colors that reflects a futuristic style. We have had another company provide us with 4 designs, and we were not happy with any of them. I do not want to include these previous ones as not to influence the new designs.
