Thanks for leaving the comments regarding your designs.

The blue option you submitted was one of our first consideration [one of the 10 in the first round].However, we actually like your red option very much and it was short-listed to 2, the red one being one of them. So it was a very close call. And you can tell by the no. of changes I requested.

The reason my manager has chosen the other one was due to its original submission where it has a tagline, word "trading" was perpendicular to Stahl and it also has the right "blue". However, after various changes and his dialogues with other managers - he made his decision of selecting a more conventional logo - aka. what you said - very oridinary. I hope you can understand this is a very close call between you and the final logo.
