How come no participation payments were awarded?

Hi Craiger,

Two participation payments were issued under this competition. The allotments were made when we issued the competition and sent out invitations to specific designers. Those designers should have received word of the participation payment along with the invitation to participate.

We really liked your design and appreciated you participating in the competition. Your design was an early leader in the competition. Unfortunately, after reviewing leading designs with focus groups, we came to the conclusion that your design would lead to brand confusion with the logo for one of the leading chains of grocery stores in our region. Thanks for responding Andy, I wasn't looking to receive any participation payment, I figured that you probably invited some designers that those were meant for, I just didn't see any given out. It's funny that you mentioned the stop & shop logo, that was never my intention to mimic there logo, I didn't even think about them when I submitted that, but after showing that logo to my wife, she thought the same thing.

Thanks so much for flagging this for us. Do you know whose original work the design is? We'll need to validate the ownership by Mi Vianda before initiating a request for refund, and can contact them directly if need be to do so, but any additional information you have would be helpful.

Hi Andy,

it looks like the logo has been used by a few companies. Including these as well:

You should have no problem resolving this issue with Designcrowd. I believe the original source file can be found on this page by the Logo ID "Orgnic".
