Signage Design Brief

We need a sign approx 3m x 3.6m hanging over the entrance to our wholesale/retail ice cream factory.
The factory is in a corner building with a widely visible huge entrance. It is in an idustrial area on a busy road with lots of traffic adjacent to a italian delicatessen store.
We are an established wholesale business with delivery service and previously no retail/walk in customers. After moving to new premises we have a shopfront and good exposure to a busy road.
We like to utilise the shop and expand into retail. For that we need a sign over the door. It should be inviting and functional as we are making ice cream, which is a fun product. The sign should say where/who we are and also scream "ICE CREAM! - ‘Come in and buy me!’ "
Attached is a photo of the shopfront, we need to replace the existing butcher sign over the awning

Target Market(s)

Walk-in and existing customers to buy mostly take away containers of ice cream, it is not an ice cream parlour with scoop ice cream open all day

• - the nature of our products is – high-end, high-quality handcrafted frozen products - we need some elegance, not sure how to express this
• - Ice cream is also a fun product, the sign needs to draw customers in to have a peek
• - building colour: is green, the sign has to blend in with the existing building colour

Should not have

• Pictures, or too much going on as we have plenty of window and door spaces.
