Mr.G Pets - a logo for a high-end pet business

Dear All designers,
Firstly, many thanks to those who have submitted, plan to submit or who are courrently working on this project. I have noticed that a number of designs submitted so far have used the image of a dog in the logo. That's great, but a number of these designs do not feature the "German Shepherd Dog" which is Gunner (Mr. G) and a key part of my intented brand. Although some of the designs use other breeds that are very cute, they are not communicating the origins of my proposed brand - Mr. G the German Shepherd. I thought I would post this as a public message so that everyone can take note. I hope this helps clarify what I am after. Some great designs already recieved and I will be providing detailed feedback shortly to those designers that really impress. Many thanks for your continued support of this important personal project! Best regards
James
Many thanks to All designers. Not long to go now till the submission cut-off. Some really good designs and some excellent ones. Hope to receive some last minute wild-card designs that meet the specification and could potentially blow those that we already like out of contention. Very excited for the Mr. G brand. Thanks again
Dear All designers, we are soon going to be picking a 1st Place and 2nd Place Design. Looking forward to any last minute submissions or colour amendments of existing designs that we really like (4 and 5 star ratings). The Selection process is now well underway. Best regards James
"The Logo should not narrow the target market and focus on one species of pet - it needs to be adaptable and applicable to pets in general whilst staying true to its target demographic of customers (high-end, wealthy, love pets, spend money on pets, want high quality). "
So you want a dog but not a dog in the design or? From what i see in the brief you want a german shepperd in your logo that narrows it pretty much.... Thank you.
Feedback on my design please. Thank you!
Dear ALL designers, many thanks for all your submissions. It was a close run contest between a number of you due to the high-quality of your designs and the fact that most of you utilised the design brief stated and the feedback given. Well done to the 1st and 2nd place designs, which were chosen by a select group of reviewers (Myself, The Board, close family and friends, representatives of our target market and ideal customers). We look forward to using the DesignCrowd platform again for any future branding requirements and once again, say thank you and wish ALL designers the best of luck for the future. James + Gunner
