Logo Design for a Indie Film Project called "Ghost in the Family": We are doing an Indie Film in Lexington, KY this July and we want to design a Logo/Word Mark for the film. Think of when you see the film "Ghostbusters" you automatically think of the Ghost with the red circle and slash through it. We want something iconic like that so when people see it, they think of our movie.
Here is info on the film:
Synopsis | When drunken and depressed divorcee Tom falls over his second-story banister to his death, he unknowingly awakens in the afterlife to find things haven't changed too much... that is, until Angie, a District Ghost Manager, arrives and rules Tom's death a suicide. Tom is told he will have to remain in his home until the date of his ghost trial to determine if he will be sent to heaven or hell. The kicker comes when Angie tells him that things don't look good for his redemption because good and bad marks have been kept on him since he was born, and he is running a major deficit. One thing that gives Tom hope, though, is that the accounting of the good and the bad continues in the afterlife, all the way up until his trial.
Tom begins to adjust to the ins and outs of a ghost life with the help of his brother, Jerry (pun intended), who died when Tom was very young. Tom and Jerry’s sibling love (and rivalry) picks up like it never missed a beat and Tom finally begins to have his first meaningful relationship in a very long time.
When a new family, made up of Albert, a workaholic, Karen, his tirelessly loyal wife with dreams as big as her heart, and Sara Beth, their daughter who can see and communicate with ghosts due to a near-death experience, moves in, Tom sees an opportunity to add to his good marks column in hopes of getting into heaven.
But, as Tom tries to introduce himself things go awry quickly, with Tom scaring the family more than helping them. Tom spooks them so much that they call in Father Benjamin to perform an exorcism but, as it turns out, the Holy Father is an unholy fraud in every way. Determined to rid their home of the ghost, the family finally calls on Franklyn Poindexter, a sci-fi nerd and amateur ghostbuster who, instead of catching Tom, tries to get his autograph.
Finally, due to Sara Beth interceding and connecting Tom with her parents, Albert and Karen resign themselves to living with a ghost and the family settles into a (semi) normal routine of staying with a spirit, but quickly discovers they may not be cut out for a life with an apparition. Wacky hijinks and spectral snafus abound as they adjust to their new life while Tom sets out to solve the family's problems in a desperate bid to save his own soul.
I also attached our company logo.
Good luck and I can't wait to see the ideas.
