Logo Design Brief

I need a fresh, memorable logo for a photography business. I specialize in portrait photography for individuals, couples, pregnancy shots. I would like for it to clearly show it is about photography, without looking like the Instagram logo; this is very important, and incorporating it into the design in a clever way will win huge points.

I added a sample design I liked that doesn't necessarily have to be like that, but it's an idea of a clever use of design and meaning.
