Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a company that are based in Sydney NSW but operate Australia wide. The company provides industrial electrical contractors to different work sites. We would like a design that is simple but effective, we are not exactly sure on colour but the Director is thinking black and silver? My personal ideas would be to add a bit of colour (even just a pinch of maybe green) but ultimately it would be the Directors decision and as long as the logo looks good to him then we will go ahead! We would like the logo to include our company name which is "Nevmat Australia Pty Ltd".
