Logo Design Brief

I need a corporate logo design for our private equity business based in Singapore. Our core business is in Market-Making for Singapore Exchange. Simply put, as professional Traders, we help to provide liquidity to the Singapore stock market.

Design: Simple is good. I also like the colors of dawn (sunrise). I do not want the design to be literal i.e. associated with $.

Background: I set up First Light Capital (FLC) after about 2.5 years of failures in other business ventures. The journey had been very tough. 'First Light' signifies a new beginning in the bible (Genesis 1:3); and also a fresh start to my life and career. FLC has since been consistently tithing to the church and aims to help the society through donations to various charities and in particularly, dog shelters.
