Logo Design Brief

Our company is based in the south east of Madagascar. We specialize in adventure, wildlife, trekking and surfing tours. We also do more run-of-the-mill tours and holiday packages. But for most people, Madagascar is definitely about adventure and wildlife. Our clientele are mainly from 25 - 45 years old. Climate is quite extreme, sign-writing needs to be redone regularly to look fresh, but paints are only available in very basic colors. Our company name, Dadamanga, means favorite (or sacred) father or uncle. Dada meaning father or uncle, and manga meaning blue, the color blue, which is the sacred color, so anything that is "manga" is special. It would seem most obvious to make our logo a shade of blue, in fact, it would be kinda weird if it was not blue. Being in Africa, we could use an African "feeling" font. I have uploaded a couple of images of the old shopfront (which will be repainted) to give you an idea of the present style.

Requirements

Must have

• The color blue (I am not sure about the type of blue really so I am open to suggestions). The letters SaRL must be smaller than the word Dadamanga. SaRL is the French equivalent of Ltd (Limited Liability Company) so it is compulsory to show it, but it has no meaning to the client and should be small in size.
  
  
  

Should not have

• Should not have cartoons of people or animals, must not have a lemur or a chameleon in it. If it had an animal it could have a fosa (Cryptoprocta ferox). Nothing corny. Stylized Malagasy people or animals would be ok as in the designs uploaded.
