Logo Design Brief
Loaded 4X4 is the brand used by Lost Track Media Pty Ltd, a business that creates editorial and video content for 4WD/4X4 and off road enthusiasts in Australia.
The brand is LOADED 4X4 - 'LOADED' and '4X4' can sit together or apart in the logo.
The tagline is - 'The cult of off road' and the logo needs to work with and without the tagline.
We want a logo that will appeal to a broad audience, that ranges from young off-roaders, through to middle-aged family men and women and reflects the straight forward, honest, hard-hitting approach that our content will take.
Above all else it needs to be 'cool' and have some 'attitude'. Not only will it need to work as a logo for our emagazine and website, it will also need to work as a clothing brand for our merchandise and this point is very important. As such it needs to be a design that is considered desirable by our audience.
Established logos that could be used for inspiration are DUES EX MACHINA and Von Dutch among other similar logos/brands that are inspired by - motor vehicles - motor bikes - surfing - graffiti - street art. SEE ATTACHED EXAMPLES.
It could be a word mark only or it could feature an image/design but we want to avoid the obvious direction this may take, so no tyre tracks, off-road tyres or similar.
