Logo Design Brief

We need a new logo for a small boutique law firm in Birmingham Alabama. Out firm represents school boards and educational interests, state and local government. We serve as general counsel for our clients and do not represent individuals. Our current logo is attached. We want to do some rebranding and are changing the name to just Bishop Colvin. We are open as far as colors but do not need something excessively flashy. We do not want stuffy traditional law firm type logos and so not use traditional letterhead where all attorneys are listed. We need a logo that will look equally good and professional on letterhead, on the web, in email signatures and in branding. Our current logo is attached.

We are making some personnel changes and need to move in a different direction from what we have. I am happy to answer more questions if that would be helpful.
