Logo Design Brief

Hi, my name is Wally, and my company name is Medihealth 1 incorporated in
Melbourne in 2016.

Medihealth 1 is a company that manufactures and sells Health and Personal Care
products for both male and females globally. We have just recently expanded our
products to include Coloured pencils for Adult Colouring as a form of Art Therapy to include all forms of accessories for this particular form of relaxation.

Some may ask how this type of pastime would fit into the Health and Personal Care category which sounds very unorthodox, but let me explain. After doing extensive research on this coloring phenomenon that has taken the world by
storm, we found that this type of therapy has enormous benefits for people that suffer with anxiety, depression, chronic pain, just to name a few. And the results of this decision to enter into this field has been very successful with
great results, especially with the feedback from our customers.

What we are trying to achieve with this Logo is to use a Black Widow spider ( image attached ) including our brand name BLACK WIDOW®.

While the image of the spider looks quite nasty and frightening, and the fact that there will be a percentage of customers that may be arachnophobic, we would like to tone this spider down to make it look more friendly, rather than intimidating, but not to the extent to make the spider look like a cartoon character.

Our colour theme will revolve around the main colours of the spider which are red and black, these are the base colours, and we can incorporate similar colour tones for the logo if need be, we are happy for you to play with different colours if you choose to. Our Font that we want to use is “ Chocolate Box “. Regarding the actual design of the logo, we want the spider to be the main, then any other image that you may see fit to use as a addition, whether it be a pencil, easel, spider web, maybe the spider with its web, and caught in the web is ??? etc. Let your
imagination flow.

The text with the logo could include the following suggestions to use if you like, or
modify, or choose your own if you like, we are very flexible in this regard

This Logo will be used on letterheads, on our packaging, and business cards, and will be trademarked when complete.

Medihealth 1 Pty Ltd has a brand called Black Widow® and requires a Logo design.

This logo will have a Black Widow spider pictured, my products are about art, coloring pencils for adult coloring books ( not R rated ), water coloring, drawing and sketching, and most accessories that compliment this.

My audience are Men and Women, (mainly women) aged between 45-65 years old, who have a passion for coloring, and will spare no expense to have the best possible pencils, etc in their armory.

The fact that this Logo will have a Black Widow Spider, I will have to be a little sensitive with this spider, as I will be catering for people that may be Arachnid, so I would be looking at a friendly spider, but not in cartoon form.

I have a Registered Trademark on the name, and also a license for the spider picture.

I have attached a pic of the spider to use and modify if you like.

Target Market(s)

The customers we are targeting are both male and female aged between 40 to 65
years. Our customers demand the best products to use in their expensive coloring
books, and do not want to use an inferior colored pencil that would ruin their favorite page. They want an ergonomic designed pencil that will not exacerbate any existing arthritic condition, including lead cores that would not require too much pressure to layer and eliminating any discomfort while coloring.
