Stationery Design Brief
I need a monogram design to use both personal and for business. I would like it to be 'manly,' and it should include some sort of a cool custom monogram using my initials (CM). I need stationary and correspondence cards. I will be using a dark envelope (i'm open to color, but it needs to be a stock envelope) to mail them and I'm open to sizing, but both the cards and stationary should fit in the same sized envelope. I'm using these for both business and personal (different addresses) so I need options for the stationary...either we leave the address completely off and just do the monogram, or we do 2 versions each with a different address/contact info. I need a unique return address situation for the envelope. Either a sticker, stamp, or some other interesting option that I can apply to whatever stock envelope I buy. There is no budget for this, it needs to be very unique and feel like a present when it's opened. Die cuts, letterpress, and any other fun ideas are welcomed as long as they are able to be realistically produced. i.e. don't send something that is impossible to source or produce.
Here is a pinterest page of ideas I like:

I've attached an image of my current stationary set which I like, but it a little girly as well as the current monogram which I'm using but is also uninspired.

Must have
- a cool monogram the fits with the color theme of the design. It must be an incredible experience to open the letter. I want it to feel special, like they're receiving a gift (see nice to have). i'd like suggestions on how to package the design (i.e.. wax seal, interesting card stock textures designs, etc.). Be creative and think outside the box, the cost of the finished product isn't an issue...when opened, the recipient should say holy shit, this is the nicest, coolest letter i've ever received." Then they should want to show it to a friend. If they don't ask me where I got it from it's a fail. Help me refer you.
Nice to have
- my passion is to create great experiences for people. I own my own business and try to create great experiences for my staff and our customers. I also try to create great experiences for my family through travel and exciting/different/adventurous activities like sailing, skiing, amusement parks, zip lines, etc. I don't know if this can translate to the design...just a thought. if it does apply to the design it should be subtle.
Should not have
- gold.
