Graphic Design Brief
We need a website graphic for the center of our website that will exemplify our new slogan: “Communities Without Borders.” The area that needs to be filled is the blue section (please see attached “website layout”).
The “communities” referred to are market research online communities that are social media websites where consumers can share their ideas with the companies that make their favorite products. WE PRIDE OURSELVES ON BEING ABLE TO CAPTURE THE VOICE OF THE CONSUMER, AND WE WANT THIS TO BE PORTRAYED.
The “without borders” speaks to the fact that our company seamlessly integrates the findings from our online communities with other sources of information. These other sources of information can be current events, consumer trends, independent research, and anything else related to the topics discussed in the community.
It is very possible that this image could be the crux of our new marketing collateral, so if your image is chosen there will likely be more opportunities for work.

Hey All, after the first round of submissions I have to say that I am impressed with your design skills and am excited to see what else you come up with.
So far design #41807 seems to be most in line with what we are going after (the blue banner with green and blue faces). He did a great job incorporating the network, community, and human elements. We would recommend following a concept like that, although maybe something with more expressive faces (could be actual photos or well draw avatars).

- -Must include a human element. A lot of what we do involves direct interactions with people and we would like to have some people included in this image.-Must be blank area for short paragraph of html text in 12-14px font. Although no exact text is available right now, there should be a spot where we can overlay a short paragraph of html text in 12-14px font. You could put in about 40-50 words worth of lorem ipsum as a place holder.
-Should be about 1000px wide and 300px high
-Should blend in with current style and color scheme of website (attached)
Nice to have
- -Make our site look “cutting edge”
-Professional looking, since this site is aimed at executives
-We like the symbolism of synapses and neural networks to show how we integrate different information. If this could be integrated into the design, great (see attached "neuron network"). THIS IS MEANT TO BE MORE OF A SYMBOL THAN A LITERAL TRANSLATION.

- -Nothing too "cartoonish" or "scientific"
