Logo Design Brief
We require a logo design for our new business The Alchemy Tree.
The Alchemy tree is a software platform to bring individuals, a group or many groups together who want to create change in the world. This platform will benefit activists and community groups that require a set of functional tools to communicate, collaborate, formulate ideas, campaign development, network, information gathering, project management and more.
The platform is structured in a way that channels people’s effort to achieve their collective goals. It is fun whilst being productive, social whilst not filling space with irrelevant chit chat, and it brings order whilst encouraging fluidity.
It is user friendly, graphically appealing and engaging.
The Alchemy tree is named as such for the symbolic meaning reflecting the ability to transmute, change, alter (alchemy) and the simple yet ingenious design for life that is reflected in a tree which is continously growing, a self organising system at all levels of complexity and extends and integrates into its environment.
For change in our world to occur, imagine what one person is capable of, now imagine what a group can change, then imagine what many groups can transform when their resources are shared.
Please consider integrating and marrying people, nature and transformational processes into the logo to enable the viewer to "get" what the alchemy tree is all about.
The logo should incorporate:
• Clever (lateral) imagery to reflect the undercurrent symbology of what The Alchemy Tree stands for;
• Professional look, embodying grace and ease;
• Trust and confidence reflected through colour (but not too many colours);
• Inviting and personable; and
• collaborative and personable quality.
The logo developed will be used in printed media, our website that is being developed and the platform.
