Book Cover Design Brief

I need a cover for the Hagaddah ( Passover prayer book) I have created for my family and friends. I want the cover to be a piece of art that incorporates themes from the story of the exodus from Egypt. It could also, but need not have passover motifs. I think that I would like relevant bible quotes, in Hebrew caligraphy incorporated, but if the artist is not skilled at this, it is possible I could have this added later. I am not looking for something too abstract.



I have attached some concept ideas and i also attached some of the Hebrew, but i can provide more clear Hebrew or other in collaboration with Artist.

One possibility that might work well is to make along the lines of design concepts 1 & 2, and put Exodus themed pictures along the border.

The style I am looking for is what I might call ' contemporary Israeli' art style. Something very much like the example I attached; tree of life, or other biblical fruit (pomegranates, grapes, dates etc.) Jerusalem; wandering in the desert, and the themes I attached which show the evolution of the Exodus. Something very similar to the design concept I attached with the Exodus story evolving around the borders; maybe slightly more rounded like a Seder plate.

BACKCOVER: I am also interested in a backcover to the Hagaddah that carries over the same style, but it need not have elements of the Exodus story. For the back cover the center of the Victor Shrem pictures included for concept ideas, might be perfect. Pommegranets and a picture of Jerusalem, maybe as the sky is changing from day to night or maybe just night (passover is a night holiday). The backcover can also be more imaginative, more chagall like. hope this helps. {I am also going to increase the budget $115 for the backcover}.
