Logo Design Brief

RedCyclo provides travel assistance and information in South East Asia countries such as Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, etc. Through the logo, we’d like to portray the brand image that is dynamic, creative, yet traditional and routed from the rich culture of Asia. We’d prefer something implicit and abstract rather than a plain picture of the cyclo.



The logo should be clean, not too messy and complicated, it should be easy to recognize and remember.



We’d need to have 2 versions of the logo: one with the text “RedCyclo” on the side or below the cyclo icon, and the other with just the cyclo icon.

After seeing the all the designs submitted, I think I should remind all interested that the logo should have an abstract red cyclo shape. Kindly read the brief carefully. Thank you

Hi all,

I think I need to reiterate that I need an abstract CYCLO shape. Please do some research on how a cyclo looks like to avoid wasting your time creating something totally out of scope. And an abstract image requires some creativity, not just a straight drawing of a cyclo. I have not seen that in any of the submission received.

Just to provide some further understanding, there are 2 types of cyclo. The old version has a man pulling the vehicle. The newer version has a man cycling the vehicle. I would prefer the newer one, to avoid the image of an exploiting approach to human labour.
