Logo Design Brief
We are an incentive marketing company called The Mice Lab. We develop and manage loyalty, reward and incentive programs for our clients. Our clients are large corporations and mainly we deal with decision makers in sales or marketing roles. We chose out name because ‘Mice’ is an industry standard acronym for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Events. However, we offer many more services than our competitors so we don’t want to focus on those services in our logo. Just including the word MICE will communicate what we do to our clients. We chose the word LAB as an abbreviation for LABORATORY. This is trying to convey that we are innovative, creative, dynamic and very different. When designing our logo, we want you to think, funky, fun, creative, mad scientist cooking up lots of amazing ideas for our clients. We are innovative and deliver loads of wow factor in our work with our clients so we want our logo to reflect that. The types of object that we are happy to consider in the design are anything that you find in a laboratory… scientists, test tubes, beakers, Bunsen burners, the Periodic Table, anything you find in a science lab. We want the logo to be super cool not funny. So cartoon character scientists are a definite no. Some other creative use of a scientist may be ok though. Please bear in mind that it doesn’t have to include a scientist, just setting some limits if you do decide to use that. The use of strong colour is OK too, but we are also happy to look dark and mysterious with just a hint of strong colour too.
Updates
Hello designers,
We have been so pleased to see so many great deisgns submitted so far and with 7 days to go we are looking forward to more to come. So far we are really liking designs that have incorporated an image of laboratory equipment, particilarly the conical beaker Click Here for Example Image
We have had a few designs using images of test tubes which look great too.
We are also liking the dark backgrounds and the use of gradient fills in the text to give a quality look and feel to our image. We are also liking the controlled use of bold colours, where a lot of grey is used the one bright colour to really create impact.
These are some of the things we have seen that have impressed us so we thought we would share that with you, but please feel to submit something different if you think you hav an amazing idea that will blow us away!
Thank you,
Jayson
