Looking for an outstanding contemporary logo for new marijuana company
Hail Mary Jane. While color is important, more interested to see how you use space. I've included different Marijuana brands to possibly influence you to create/achieve a much more clever logo which leaves an even more distinct impression.

I reviewed latest branding with marijuana products and the pot leaf is no longer prominent. Please look at kiva, whoopsie, willies reserve etc for clean minimalist ideas to attract high end users of cannabis products.
