Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for a Korean restaurant (mainly take-away and delivery but also dine-in possibilities). The name of the restaurant is "The K" and I'd like the logo design to fit in either a circle of square (not oval or rectangle).

The logo should mention The K with "K" being the biggest element and should stand out the most. I would also like to see the wording "Korean Cuisine" in the logo which should be smaller than "The" and "K". I do not want any oriental drawing/picture elements on the logo (i.e. bowls, chopsticks etc...)

I want a flat design which is modern and simple with minimal number of colors. (No bright colors please) I'm currently leaning towards white design on black background or the other way around but this is not mandatory.

Please have a look at the attached PPT file to see some references which I have gathered.

The logo will be used on the signboard, as well as stickers on take-away containers etc...

I hope to find just the right logo through Designcrowd.
