Logo Design Brief

My company name is OBS. OBS is a company specialized in earthquake engineering and provides advanced engineering solutions. I am not happy with my previous logo (www.obs.com.tr) . The very thin characters does not make the impact. The previous logo contains arcs which represent seismic waves. An idea like this which reminds earthquakes are welcome but not mandatory. My company moto is Advanced Structural and Earthquake Engineering Solutions (ileri Yapi ve Deprem Muhendisligi Cozumleri in Turkish). If the moto will be used in the logo I want both Turkish and English versions. This may be used in the logo or not. The moto can be shortened as "earthquake engineering solutions (deprem muhendisligi cozumleri)".
I want a simple, impressive and professional logo for my company.
