Logo Design Brief

My company name is 'Retail Executives'. Unlike my competitors who have unique names I have chosen for good or bad, two generic but desciptiove names, words that my competitors probably use anyway when they are describing themselves, so I need a logo that is memorable.
I provide executive level (Directors etc) people to Retail companies.

I have already been to designers and have been disappointed with the work I have had back. Of course as I suppose with everyone, this is my brand identity, the first thing my clients see and what they will see regularly, the thing that links up my business cards, website, digital marketing, LInkedIn, Instragram.

I dont want something old fashioned
I dont want a logo with the first 2 letters of my company 'RE'

I dont have a set colour palette, perhaps the logo will be one that I could use in different colours depending in the background.

I am having a website built as we speak please do see http://civvo.com/ier/ The images up are not the final ones but what the web designer has put in at least for holding purposes.

I have digital marketing people who have these outline designs for mailers waiting for logos, in 2 different concepts, one with people pictures, the other with retail/shop pictures

I believe I want something modern, clean, flowing? , something more maybe than just different fonts

Originally I started with a strapline which is 'Amazing Fashion, Apparel & Retail Talent' I have since dropped this for the logo as made it too unworkable for a designer to include this
