Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for our youth golf non-profit organization which is called "Santa Cruz Junior Golf" or "SCJG". Our kids range in age from 6 to 18 years of age, but we'd like our design to appeal primarily to the older kids (teens).

Santa Cruz is a beach community in California with many golfers and surfers. The logo design could incorporate elements from both golf and the beach and/or surf.

The logo should have 3 variations/elements:
(1) Wordmark: "Santa Cruz Junior Golf", 2-color in a simple, edgy fun font design.
(2) Acronym: "SCJG", 1-color, Font should match wordmark. Possibly stacked.
(3) Logo Element: Simple image depicting a recognizable element from the sport of golf (e.g golf ball, club, etc.) combined with an element from the beach or surf.

Target Market(s)

Teens in California. Young, edgy golfers.
