Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new blog called EpicureanPortraits.com, which tells the stories of the worlds most progressive food and wine / beverage pioneers - winemakers, chefs, farmers (eg. truffle grower, goat farmer) and artisans (eg.cheese makers, knife makers), brewers, distillers etc. Their stories will be told via photography, video clips, written word and podcast style interviews. Based in wine country, beautiful Central Otago, New Zealand but with both a local and international focus. The design needs to be black for a white back ground - or reversible as white. The tone needs to reflect trust / authenticity, discovery and quality. Our target market / niche is mainly 'Food and Wine / Lifestyle' (hobbyists who will travel and / or purchase food and wine experiences), Food and Wine industry insiders and peers (eg. other chefs and winemakers ) and anyone interested in how these pioneering entrepreneurs became successful (and so crossing in to the Business genre).
