Logo Design Brief

I need a new design of my business logo that has been the same for 20+ years. I am a General Contracting Firm that builds custom homes along with extensive renovations and additions. I would like the new design to have a roof line or represent a home. I would like to make a more modern feel with classy elements to the logo design. The logo needs to show that we are million dollar+ home builders and be attractive to higher-end clientel. Some part of a home such as a roof, door, windows, stairs can be used to show that we are home builders. Please see the attached files. One of the files are logos that were comprised by someone else. These logos are not what I am looking for. I really want a more modern home or elements of a home. I have also attached the existing logo that I currently have for reference. Colors are to be black/silver or black/gold/silver. I want the logo to look rich and classy. I will leave the colors to the designer. Please show some dimension in the logo if possible.
