Logo Design Brief
I am a psychologist who owns a private practice in the Kansas City Metro Area. I specialize in anxiety disorders and OCD. I work with all ages, from young children to the geriatric population. I want potential patients to view me as professional and knowledgeable and the practice as a comfortable, safe place to receive treatment.
The practice name is McNeley-Phelps Psychological Services. Something could be done with MPPS but that is not the official name of the practice.
Updates
I need a logo that will work well on a business card, letterhead, and door sign.

My last name is McNeley-Phelps. The design needs to give equal attention to both parts of the name. Some designs have focused on only McNeley. This would confuse patients.

Requirements
Must have
- I prefer cooler colors to warmer colors. I like colors such as blues, purples, and certain greens. I tend to not like oranges, yellows, and browns.
- Re: McNeley-Phelps Both names must have equal emphasis. McNeley cannot stand out more.
Nice to have
- I am drawn to images that suggest guidance and direction. Things like compasses, shipping steering wheels, compass roses. However, I like the idea of more abstract images of these things.
Should not have
- A medical looking brain. In fact, I am not drawn to brain images in general or to facial profiles.
