Logo Design Brief

We have a logo (attached) that we've used since our inception close to 6 years ago and we need a professional reboot, though we don't want something that's completely different from the existing one. We (Blue Label) are one of the areas top event entertainment bands, performing at weddings, corporate events as well as occasional casinos and nightclubs. Having "blue" in our name it makes sense to use that color but we do need a "neutral color" version to use on our equipment at events. We like the idea of incorporating silver for some sparkle. The final design should be legible from a distance, have a modern look while maintaining a very classy vibe.
