Logo Design Brief
The Nick McLeod company produces higher-end, hand-crafted, custom furniture and quality products which incorporate both wood and metal in the design. We emphasize a personal connection to the craftsman Nick McLeod in our work. We offer a personal touch on everything we make and have exacting standards for our work.
We are looking for a logo that exudes quality and craftsmanship, but is also personable, memorable, easy to recognize and might be good for some merch down the road.
We want our clients to feel connected to the craftsman Nick McLeod in everything they buy, and would like the logo to reflect that personal but higher-end touch.
Updates
Thank you all so much for your submissions. There were over 240 submissions. Nine designs made it to the top cut with one winner and 3 participation payments made to additional selections. Those top nine were all exceptional, and most every other design submitted was something we wish we could have used in some fashion. Thank you for your hard work and creativity.

- Looking for something memorable, bold, personable, classy, meaningful, and marketable. Our old logo just doesnt cut it. We want it to be so good people want to wear it, and when they see it on our products they are pleased.
- Prominent N M or something with related business imagery. But also open to new options as well.
- Colors: black and white or earth tones, golds, browns, greens. Can use others as well.
- We want our clients to feel personally connected to the craftsman Nick McLeod.
Nice to have
- Something memorable, that could be placed on the product as well (branded on a wood slab table for instance). Or even on a shirt or other merch.
- Prominent N M or something with related business imagery. Open to new options as well, new ideas are fine.
- Memorable.
Should not have
- Upload only one set of designs! If you want to show multiple variations do so on the same upload. Multiple uploads of the same design or similar designs will be eliminated without consideration unless requested by the company.
