Poster Design Brief

Outdoor sign required by a beach club with the rules and regulations.

The sign, as pictured in the photographs, is quite large, measuring 3m wide and 2m high, we need a poster which will be affixed to the sign, which will provide the guests with the rules and regulations of the beach.

We require the design to be symmetrical, so that on the left side of the sign the rules will be in english and on the right side it will be in arabic script (which we will provide).

The sign should have a beachy theme, with the logo of the beach club in the centre at the top, and the contact info on a border along the bottom of the sign.


The Rules are as follows:
No Swimming when Red Flag is raised
No Swimming near the Rocks, Breakwater or outside the Safe Zone
No Swimming after sunset
All Swimmers must wear appropriate Swimwear
Children are the Responsibility of Accompanying Adults
Outside Food and Drink are prohibited
Please Comply with Staff instructions at all times
Respect the Beach, keep it clean and respect other beach-goers
All Guests enter the Beach at their own risk, the Management accepts no liability for any loss or injury suffered.

I will be providing active feedback to help shape the format and provide the arabic script for designs which I feel are most congruent with the values and feel of the beach.

I have attached a couple of designs which I was working on, I like the background of the sea in one, and the other one i included just to show you the idea/basic concept.
