Logo Design Brief

We are a sports nutrition supplement brand that uses the phrase "embrace the suck" to motivate, inspire and lead from the front of the industry. We are looking to design a shirt with our saying "embrace the suck". Our primary market are United States Military service members. I have attached some examples of styles that I like - the star and the red/white/blue flag are pieces that we would like to incorporate.
