Logo Design Brief
We currently have one salon for guys of a chain that we are breaking away from & creating our own brand. We have narrowed the name down to either The Den for Men or Alpha Male.
We currently have an all female staff, but the staff is about quality services, not about hot chicks. The staff provides hair cutting ($40), coloring, waxing, facials & nails. With the rebranding, we will be adding barbering, shaving & massage. We pride ourselves on quality services and a masculine & relaxing environment. Our waiting lounge has massage chairs, juke box, big screen TVs, magazines, internet bar, video games & complimentary drinks.
Some of our national competitors include Roosters, Floydd's, American Male & Rudy's Barbershop

Requirements
Nice to have
- A creative barber pole somewhere in logo that is not obviously a barber pole. Maybe a red/white/blue swirl somewhere in logo. Just an idea.
- If you encompass a tagline, maybe incorporate 'Grooming Lounge' opposed to 'Barber'.
Should not have
- Please do not design to target or attract a specific age group. (i.e. Ed Hardy looking logo might alienate men over 40.) Please do not make it look too high end because consumers may feel they cannot afford before they even see the prices.
- Please do not over emphasise that we will have a barber. It will alienate those guys who would never go to a barber.
