Logo Design Brief

Our organization is a social media and organization aimed at providing science-based information about various parts of the energy industry (fossil fuels, renewable energy, climate change, emissions, etc.) We are looking for a new logo which reflects the young, progressive and trusthworthy brand we have been building. Ideally the logo with be something simple and may include something about nature (ex: the sun) but open to ideas. Our previous logo is attached for reference but feel free to be creative with color schemes.
