Logo Design Brief

We are looking for a logo that reflects the energy and commitment of the agencies represented by New York Disability Advocates (NYDA). NYDA consists of five not-for-profit disability provider associations who came together to strengthen their advocacy initiatives on behalf of people with disabilities, their families, and the organizations that support them. We work with legislators, state agencies and our communities to ensure needed supports and services are available throughout life for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities; this includes advocacy for additional funding for services, to support/develop a skilled workforce, to improve community awareness of disability issues, and ensure best practices in supports are reinforced through regulatory and legislative actions. NYDA represents over 250 not-for-profit agencies across New York State that provide supports and services to hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers with a broad range of intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), from those who maintain independence with minimal supports to those with complex medical and/or behavioral needs including autism; NYDA providers employ more than 75,000 dedicated direct support professionals.
