Logo Design Brief

Having recently purchased an existing scuba diving business, we are now keen to change it's name to Barrie Scuba House (our business is actually located in a house) and design an impactful logo. Our business has 4 main platforms: 1. instruction/training/certifications, 2. scuba and snorkel equipment sales, 3. equipment service and 4. group travel. Logo should be simple and incorporate the elements of a house plus some type of scuba image - either the full scuba silhouette or just a mask. Designs will likely incorporate the traditional red/white scuba colours but we are open to use of blue (water) or green (environmentally conscience).

Target Market(s)

Sporty & adventurous recreational scuba divers, aged 12 to 80+ who enjoy travelling. 70% of our clientele are male aged 35-60.

Requirements

Must have

• My project must incorporate elements of a house plus a piece of scuba equipment - either a full diver or a mask or tanks etc.
• Text "Scuba House" should be more prominent than "Barrie" (location)
• Logo should be bold & modern in feel. Aspirational, sporty, adventurous.
• Must translate well to t-shirts, business cards, etc.

Nice to have

• Would be ideal to also incorporate the international scuba flag (red & white with a diagonal white strip)

Should not have

• no pastel colours
• not too feminine
• no bikini shots
• no sharks
• no clip art images
• no cartoon images
