Web Design Brief

Hi,

So I'm looking to start a project of redesigning the front homepage for all of my tech sites. I already have a developer that will code the change, so what I need from someone here is to give me a graphic design, which I can then give to my developers to code.

Currently, I have the plain old boring default list of WordPress posts as the front page, which needs to be replaced with something a little more like a magazine or newspaper style. You can see my four sites here:

I've attached some screenshots of mobile sites that I like in terms of look and style. Some desktop sites that I like are here (I like some parts more than others, I've attached screenshots of the sections I like):

Basically, I don't need all that text after each post. Seems like most sites now just have an image, a title, the author and date info and possibly the category.

Right now I'm only showing 10 posts and one has to scroll through lots of text to see them all. The sidebar is good, but I think we can get rid of that for the front page and instead have different sections like Latest Tips, and then some section headers based on the categories.

Anyway, I'm looking for someone who can come up with multiple designs, so that I have some choice.

I'm looking to get this done over the next few weeks. Also, please include in your price the cost of any revisions and how many revisions can be done.
