Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for my new company. The logo needs to reflect the nature and ethos of the business (described below). It needs to be used (or adaptable for) in a variety of media (mainly print and digital) including website, social media etc.

Quirkshops - creative, personal, quirky

I deliver quirky/unusual art and craft workshops. Examples include: bare bottom book ends, self portrait collages, jars of pickled bottoms, blue nude lampshades, personalised embroidered clothing, memory boxes/frame (making visual story of a person's life).
I run scheduled Quirkshops in a number of local crafting venues. I can also bring Quirkshops to any suitable venue and tailor the workshop to the specific needs of a client.
The focus of the workshops is to nurture creative talent in everyone through a wide range of art and craft skills. The experiences are shared in a group but will be unique and personal (people won't all produce the same thing at the end) and the process is as important as the things that people produce.The workshops support personal expression, communication, social engagement and emphasise a fun, almost therapeutic element to the experience. For example, I promote people to love and feel comfortable with their own bodies, for people to remember a loved one who may have died and for some workshops just to have a bit of a giggle in friendly company.

I am environmentally conscious and upcycle and repurpose materials where I can.

Target Market(s)

The target audience for Quirkshops are adults but the groups will vary depending on each workshop. They may include specific groups such as girls night out, hen nights, Steampunk, people at home during the working week (part-time / parents / retired etc).

Nice to have

• I really love octopus so wondered whether to incorporate one into the image it can be pictoral or abstract. I had an idea of one holding different craft tools in each tentacle - sewing machine, paint brush, craft knife, clay etc. Not sure if this will work. Have put a few images in the brief below as starting point.
