Logo Design Brief

We need a logo for a land development company. We purchase raw land and develop it into lots that people can buy and then build a home or commercial building. We are not a construction company but would hire a construction company to do the work for us. We are not into the financing of home purchases and we are not realtors. We deal more with the construction side of things but I do not want a construction type looking logo. We are partially environmental as well, as we have to be sensitive to our surroundings and minimize the impact to our trees, streams, and environment around us when developing the land. I attached a couple sketches I did of one idea incorporating a branch but i am in no way tied to this and would prefer ideas other than this. The name branchway came from the first building that we occupied when we started our previous company.
