Logo Design Brief
The City of Hamilton, Montana needs a new logo for the Public Works Department. Public Works is currently using the City seal as our logo. This appears on letterhead, official documents and on city vehicles. Although recognizable, the current logo is to busy to be effective on clothing, vehicles and equipment. Public Works is comprised of Water, Wastewater, Streets, Parks, Cemetery and Building departments. We would like a central logo that could be customized with the name of each department housed under public works. The logo should be easy to recognize from a distance as it will be on clothing and vehicles and helps identify City employees.The City of Hamilton seal shows Blodgett Canyon. It would be nice to incorporate the Bitterroot Mountains, Blodgett Canyon or the Bitterroot River in our new logo, but not necessary.
