Built in 1884 but subsequently added to with more modern buildings, the Point Lonsdale Guest House is a mid-range (3 to 4 star) 24-room holiday accommodation business situated in a small, picturesque seaside village (Point Lonsdale) in Victoria, Australia. Beautiful beaches, an iconic lighthouse and 'The Rip' (the main shipping entrance to Port Phillip Bay) are its main attractions for families and couples alike. New owners intend to offer guests a beach/holiday house experience without the cleaning, maintenance and capital expense. Blue and white are the most obvious colours to use. The nautical theme evident in the current logo runs through the property but needs to be modernised if retained. The final design should reflect the relaxed, idyllic nature of the property and village.
