Logo Design Brief
I am looking for a logo design to use for the upcoming launch of a new food blog. The blog will be through WordPress, and there will be a social media component. The vision of the blog is to bring restaurant cuisine home.
The overall brand and aesthetic will be minimalist, modern, and clean. I would prefer an overall lighter colour scheme to create an overall clean aesthetic, but I am open to any colour. I don’t want too much going on or to have it be too busy. The theme of the blog will be "an amateur cook tries to replicate fine-dining restaurant style refined, inspired cuisine in his come kitchen". So in a way, the theme is refined and upscale, but also a bit rustic and imperfect. The blog will feature recipes that are familiar but also upscale. The intended audience is an above-average home cook.
The logo should have the name of the blog, but I am open to either a plain text logo only, or to have some pictorial element, such as a sketch of a kitchen utensil (wooden spoon, tongs), plate, appliance, etc. or some other original design.
