Logo Design Brief

I am looking to redesign my business logo. We run a mortgage firm here in Canada. We specialize in mortgage services that include residential, commercial and agriculture (although we have a predominant focus on residential lending). We are wanting to add a little spice to our logo. Brighten it up with a splash of color. Maybe add a little imagery but we want to keep with a classic yet elegant design as our office consists of all women.
