We’ve removed some requirements, narrowed down our vision AND added funds to the prize!

Our partners have decided we want to go in the direction of a VINTAGE inspired logo. Vintage / Retro / Antique / Hipster -whatever you’d like to call it, something old world. I will be attaching a number of logos that we like, and would like to draw inspiration from.

Here’s what we know we want:

-Vintage/ Hand Lettered typography

-A Banner (with text in it, possibly “Botanical Wonders”, example given in images)

-Vintage “Light Rays” (example given in images).

-A Firefly (aesthetically like it's from a vintage/antique entomology book)

And any other vintage embellishments you’d like.

Hello, we're Firefly Farms! We're an organic hemp farm located in Southern Indiana! Our company is a seed-to-shelf start-up. We grow the plants, and then turn those plants into CBD (and other cannabanoids) products for the world to enjoy. We make high quality, boutique products, just like we grow our plants- by hand!

We grow our hemp in rolling fields, surrounded by lush forest. In the summer, fireflies parade through our hemp in a festival of sorts, the warm air tinted with wild floral scents, the giant night sky giving way to an untold number of brilliant constellations. We want something that reflects that magic (no sweat, right?), something that conveys wonder, whimsy and authenticity. Some of the things we find inspiring are: the stars, fireflies (obviously), the woods...etc.

We've included a rough idea mock-up! You can base your logo from this, or do something completely original! This is just one possibility (sorry, we';re not "even marginally average" with Illustrator). One thing we ask is to please not include hemp (cannabis) leaves in the design (...but aren't you a hemp company?? #irony)

This logo will need to be scale-able and suitable for our online store, social media, physical products and stationary.
