Logo Design Brief
We need to make some slight revisions to the existing logo, business card, and stationary designs for a company that we have recently acquired. We would like to keep the artwork of the Griffin holding the Shamrock, but potentially have some subtle shadows or depth added to the artwork. In addition, we would like to add the new company website, www.planwithgriffin.com, added to the existing business card and stationary designs, along with a space for an email address of info@planwithgriffin.com. Last, we would like to use a similar font to what is being used on the existing logo, but it doesn't have to be identical as long as it's visually appealing.

Hi all - thanks so much for your interest in our project!
As a number of different designs are being submitted, we are feeling much more like we would like to use a "non-script" based font for the language in the logo. I hope this saves a number of you time as we continue to look through your good work!

Thank you all for your continued designs and input to our project - it does not go unnoticed and is appreciated!
As we have reviewed the multiple styles of logo submissions, we are becoming increasingly focused on using an icon of some sort that incorporates the Griffin animal into it, as opposed to copying the entire existing Griffin and the Shamrock. We have found that this results in a much simpler, cleaner logo.
In addition, we still want to finished logo to have the text "Griffin Advisors" with "an SPFG company" below it, as originally stated.
Last, we would still like to see designs that retain the primary color of green, but would also like to see a second neutral color such as grey, black, white, or tan (depending on the background).

Thank you all for your continued input for this project - we're looking forward to bringing it to a conclusion on schedule this week, no later than Wednesday, 10/9/19.
For those new to the project or continuing to revise your designs, please see the update posted on 10/3/19 regarding our desired change from using the same artwork as the original logo (which is attached to the project for reference) to using a cleaner, more modern "icon" design which will see portray the head of the Griffin in some way, use the primary color of green, and include a shamrock either in the icon or in the text.
Last, please keep in mind that we have prepaid for the business card design, letterhead design, envelope design, and social media icon designs in addition to the vertical and horizontal logo revision, so the winning artist will need to supply those items as well, per the project brief.

Must have
- An end result that improves upon the artwork and visual quality of the current design, without a complete visual "overhaul" of the artwork and font used. In addition, we need a horizontal layout of the new logo in addition to a vertical version.
- When existing clients of the company see the new logo, we want them to be able to instantly connect it to the logo that they've been seeing for many years (I've uploaded a file of the existing logo).
Nice to have
- It would be very nice to have more depth to the existing artwork to more clearly differentiate the shamrock that the Griffin is holding, whether that be through using slightly different shades of green, shadowing, or some other technique.
Should not have
- Substantial changes that make it difficult to visually connect the revised logo to the current logo.
