We need a logo for a startup that is changing the paradigm for treatment of partially torn tendon. With our device, orthopedic surgeons and radiologists will be able to perform complete repairs, without the need for open surgery. Trace Orthopedics is developing the first percutaneous (through a needle) fixation system for tendons partially torn away from bone. Using image guidance (e.g. ultrasound, CT, MRI, fluoroscopy), this minimally invasive procure is accomplished using a novel design featuring a wire coil wound around a bone screw (see www.traceortho.com). This innovation represents a monumental improvement over suture anchors used currently in either general or arthroscopic surgical procedures. We would like to see designs featuring elements of the device design, namely the screw, coil, and possibly the needle (similar to a hollow biopsy needle). Some early versions of the logo are included as examples. Desirable characteristics for the logo are simple, sleek, and/or sophisticated. We are looking to use a color scheme featuring teal, aqua, or light light blue with gray to accent.
